This week, International Game Technology (IGT), announced a new partnership deal with the National Basketball Association (NBA). The company is now the first B2B sports betting platform provider located in the US to provide official logos, marks and data of the NBA to casinos and sportsbook in the nation.
Details of the Partnership
IGT has signed a multi-year deal with the NBA and under the agreement, will see its sports betting customers allowed to use the intellectual property of the NBA. This will include team logos, league logos, and official data.
IGT’s PlayDigital Senior Vice President, Enrico Drago, commented on the new deal, stating that partnering with the NBA and providing official league data to its PlaySports customers provides further validation that IGT is serious about delivering an unrivaled solution for sports betting in the United States.
Drago stated further that he feels working with the NBA will help t 7BALL CX he company’s customers to create betting menus that are compelling for sports fans across the nation.
NBA Senior Vice President, Head of Fantasy & Gaming, Scott Kaufman-Ross, commented on the new deal as well stating: “This partnership with IGT marks the first time a platform provider can offer an ‘out of the box’ authentic NBA sports betting solution to a diverse set of operators across the U.S. This agreement will allow regional operators across the country to have direct access to NBA assets to create the best NBA gaming experience and further engage our fans.”
Resort Wallet Cashless Solution
IGT has been very busy signing new deals as of late. Just before announcing the NBA partnership, the company announced they are providing Resorts World Catskills in New York with a Resort Wallet cashless solution.
The new option will allow visitors of the casino to load funds on to loyalty cards. This provides a contactless and safe way to complete transactions on-site, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
